Hello everyone,

I have a dream. And your kids are part of it!

I dream that our world becomes radically transformed by the love of God. I long for each of your sons and daughters to experience this reality first hand. And, I want them to take this encounter out into the rest of the world.

I long for the hungry to be fed, lost to be found and those who feel lonely and isolated to recognize that they have place to belong - and they are necessary!

I believe that the youth of St. Al's can bring this reality about. I know they all have a desire to do great things. And they can. Why? Because God has given them unique gifts the world needs. And, God put them in this time in history because He knows that your kids have what the world needs right now!

See below for the different opportunities we have to offer the teens to help them to connect to God and bring Him into the world!

God bless,

Karen

Want them to realize the depths of God's love for them?

Then the Wisconsin Youth Rally is a great place to send your son or daughter!

I have taken a lot of kids there over my time working in the Church. And, I have very rarely encountered a kid who did not have a great time at the Youth Rally.

So, after a year of not taking kids (because I was new here), I am ready to jump back in! Please sign up by February 16th.

Love Begins Here

Have your kids ever wondered what it looks like to truly live out the Gospel in a radical way? Have they ever asked what's the point of believing in Jesus?

Well, Love Begins Here is an amazing opportunity for kids to learn what living the life of a Christian looks like. It also will have an opportunity to really learn more about their faith as they serve alongside other kids in our Archdiocese.

St. Al's is going to be partaking in Love Begins Here mission trips. These are local (as we will never leave the borders of our Archdiocese) mission trips where kids will stay at a parish and serve the community nearby. The middle school mission is three days and the high school mission is a week.

  • Middle School: June 24-27|St. Anthony on the Lake in Pewaukee
  • High School: July 14-19|St. Charles in Burlington (can count towards Confirmation Service Hours)

Each trip has limited space (5 teens each).

We'd love to have your son or daughter join us.

Chaperones are welcome!

If you KNOW your teen wants to attend, you can sign up right now (I would appreciate it if you let me know).

If you know you are able to chaperone (you will need to attend a Safe Environment Training for adults - but we can work this out), you can register now as well.
