Wildlife Baby Shower

Sunday, May 5th from 11am-3pm

This unique event will be held at the Elburn Forest Preserve.

Admission is a gift for the baby animals in our care. We have registries at Amazon & Walmart!

Gifts can be brought to the baby shower or delivered directly to 1000 S. La Fox Street, South Elgin, IL 60177

With new life comes overwhelming need.



In the next few months, Anderson Humane will care for:

Nearly 500 cottontail rabbits

Roughly 330 songbirds

Over 250 gray squirrels

Approximately 215 ducklings

More than 100 opossums

Roughly 50 raccoons

Each of these baby animals requires food, medical care, and shelter. These babies are vulnerable and need your support to thrive.

These baby animals need you.

When you choose to shop our wishlists or donate to our cause, you’ll be making a BIG difference for SMALL baby animals in need.

YOU can help give them a second chance by browsing our baby registries and selecting one, or more, of the items they need to survive. Your support will help us give each fragile, orphaned newborn the specialized care and support they need to grow healthy and strong.

Parking at the Baby Shower

Parking is marked and available throughout the Forest Preserve. A shuttle will run continuously to transport guests to/from the parking areas!.  

We will have a table for donation drop off. You're more than welcome to pull your vehicle up to the donation drop off area, unload your donations, then find parking!

Our volunteer team will be ready to help you.
