Hello Jennifer,

As we approach the end of the year, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our loyal sponsors and donors to CLCL. You who have opened your heart to change the life of a child(ren) thousands of miles away from you, but whose life has truly been improved by your generosity.

This year, a few of the board members and donors were once again able to visit Kenya to see the positive impact that your contributions have in the students, schools & community we support in Kenya.

Please see attached a thank you letter from Wyclif Gitonga, CLCL-Kenya Executive Director.

Wishing all our donors a wonderful holiday season. We look forward to working alongside you in 2025 as together we continue to change children’s lives in Kenya.

To Our Valued Donors and Sponsors,

We at Changing Lenses Changing Lives-Kenya (CLCL-Kenya) are deeply grateful for your unwavering support throughout the year. As we come to the end of the year, your generous contributions have enabled us to continue our mission to ease the suffering of underprivileged children in Kenya through sponsorship. It helps them transform their stark reality into dreams worthy of pursuing.

Your generosity has directly impacted the lives of more than 125 sponsored children, who have received school fees and uniforms, basic necessities, toiletries, and solar lamps, among other things. Some of the sponsored children have graduated with degrees in fields such as Information Technology, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, and Mass Communication and Journalism, while others have joined tertiary institutions to pursue various courses, including civil engineering, electrical engineering, and medical courses, to name just a few. In addition, through your support, we distributed at least 50 pcs of menstrual cups to young mothers from poor backgrounds in Kenya.

Thanks to your generosity, we have been providing meals to nearly 900 learners in four primary schools in Meru, Kenya, which has improved overall academic performance by reducing absenteeism among the learners. Lastly, approximately 250 families living in Mathare, one of the largest slums in Africa, who were victims of floods that damaged their property and homes in April and May, received food support to ease their suffering. These achievements would not have been possible without your confidence in our mission and commitment to making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children.

As we welcome the New Year, we reflect on the incredible achievements made possible through your compassion and generosity. We are incredibly thankful for your support, which has changed the lives of countless people.

From all of us at CLCL-Kenya, we send our heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes for a joyous and prosperous New Year for you and your loved ones. Here's to another year of partnering to ease the suffering of the vulnerable children under our care!

With heartfelt appreciation,

Wycliff Gitonga
