Join us tomorrow, Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Demonstration Garden for a fun day featuring raffles, workshops, garden tours, youth crafts, tree giveaways, and other exciting earth-friendly activities! Moreno Valley's Earth Day Celebration is a free community event.


The Community Demonstration Garden is located at 14075 Frederick Street, behind the Conference & Recreation Center.

Our Public Safety Expo Returns May 18!

The City of Moreno Valley Public Safety Expo is a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet Moreno Valley's finest and bravest. This fun and family-friendly event features hands-on exhibits, exciting demonstrations, music, food, giveaways, and so much more!


The Public Safety Expo will take place on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Calle San Juan de Los Lagos at the Moreno Valley Civic Center.


Get to know your Moreno Valley first responders, investigate exciting career opportunities, and watch amazing Police and Fire Department demonstrations.

Serving Those Who Served Us

Join us on Thursday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center for our regional Veterans Resource & Wellness Fair. 

 

This FREE, in-person resource and wellness fair is designed to help connect our military community and their families to regional resources for employment, government benefits, education, community resources, workshops, and wellness activities. The event features workshops, expert panels, and free lunch. 


Hosted by Moreno Valley’s Business & Employment Resource Center (BERC) and the Loma Linda VA Homeless Veteran Community Employment Services Team, this event will serve as a platform to promote healthy living among veterans through various aspects of life, including career wellness, physical and mental wellness, and access to essential resources such as education, finance, housing, and direct access to veteran-friendly employers.

Chip In to Help Keep Them Safe!

It’s almost summer! But along with the holiday celebrations, outdoor fun, and family activities, comes the risk of pets getting lost or escaping the safety of their homes. 


To help increase the number of lost pets getting returned to their owners, the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter will be hosting a multi-day Free Microchip Event, providing HomeAgain microchips to the first 300 pets owned by Moreno Valley residents,

Starts Tuesday, April 23, until supplies last.


Hours of Event

Tuesday - Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proof of Moreno Valley residency required. No appointment necessary. Limit four pets per household, and chips are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Pet of the Week: Shadow

Our Pet of the Week is Shadow, a 7-year-old black and brown German Shepherd mix. He is a big teddy bear with a big heart, and loves to do tricks like "shake" and "sit," and eager to learn more! He's good on a leash and enjoys playing with other dogs.
