Dear Parents,

Our students were so excited to go on the Colgate Bus this week. We were thrilled that 99% of our students had signed permission forms for the "tooth check". ALL of our students had a chance to go on the bus and see the instructional video and see a proper toothbrushing demonstration from the hygienist.

The students who sat in the chair had their teeth counted. Any child whom they had concerns about received a follow-up paper so parents could follow up with a dentist. After leaving the chair, the kids got a goodie bag with a coloring page and a free toothbrush and toothpaste. We have done this program for more than 10 years and can't say enough great things about it. We are so grateful to Colgate for coming to our school.

Next week is the birthday of Dr. Suess. Families in our VPK and K-2 classes, be on the lookout for notices in Brightwheel about special events taking place next week. Next week we will also have a special extra day in February as it is a leap year. We will squeeze one extra day of learning fun into February before we welcome March.

Please note, for kids in our VPK and K-2 classes, the official Spring Break Week will be March 22-28. We will be open all those days, but families who wish to vacation or kids who stay home on any of those days will not be marked absent as they are considered NON-Instructional days. 

VPK CAP AND GOWN PHOTOS are on March 13th. Please be sure VPK students are wearing their Blue polos and girls, no ponytails, they will not fit under the cap. 

We will be CLOSED on March 29th on Observance on Good Friday so please mark your calendars.
