The week of April 29th- May 3rd, we will be celebrating our staff and all their hard work with a week full of love, goodies, and appreciation! IMPORTANT State Testing Information

The last day of CMAS testing is Monday, April 22nd!! See below for a reminder of information. The full schedule is highlighted below.

CMAS

Monday, April 22nd – 8th and 11th graders ONLY

• 8th and 11th grade students need to arrive by 7:45am for CMAS testing
• Busses will run normally in the morning and afternoon
• Students are able to be picked up after their final test of the day (schedule below). Students who are not picked up will be in a study hall until 3pm.
• 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, & 12th graders will be at home participating in asynchronous remote learning
• “Asynchronous remote learning” means that students will have an assignment posted on Teams in each class that they must complete to be counted “present” for that class.
• Assignments will be posted by 7:45am and must be turned in by 3pm to be counted present

Staff Spotlight

This week, CECW would like to spotlight Liz Sanders, one of our amazing paraprofessionals. While originally from Alaska, Ms. Sanders received her Bachelor's of Science in English Education in North Dakota at Mayville State University. She went on to earn a Master's of Arts in English through Wayland Baptist University's online program. Upon graduating she taught Composition courses for Wayland's Anchorage, Alaska campus. In 2018, Ms. Sanders was ready for a change and moved to New Mexico to work as a copy editor and met her husband. After getting married in 2020, they relocated to Greeley, Colorado where Ms. Sanders continued working remotely for PR Newswire as a copy editor. Ms. Sanders left her editing job in 2022 and just this week opened a bookstore with a speakeasy in Fort Collins called Blurred Words. We are so happy to have Ms. Sanders as a valued team member of our CEC Windsor Golden Eagles family!
