PCC has the first DHHS training in Richland County

Palmetto Care Connections (PCC) is proud to announce the launch of the first digital literacy training program in Richland County, South Carolina. Teaming up with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), PCC aims to empower Medicaid beneficiaries with essential digital skills. Participants will have the option to attend in-person sessions within their community or complete online modules, focusing on telehealth participation and health literacy.

Upon completion of the program, each participant will receive a complimentary digital device and 12 months of free cellular service. Furthermore, ongoing technical support will be provided by PCC to ensure continued success beyond the training. This initiative not only bridges the digital divide but also enhances access to vital healthcare services, marking a significant step towards inclusive healthcare in the region.
