SEE OUR 2023 HIGHLIGHTS!

We are moving full steam ahead into a definitive year for the Southwestern Medical District Urban Streetscape and Park project. As a milestone in the design process, Texas Trees Foundation and our partners are on track to complete 30% design drawings this Spring.

What do we plan to deliver at the end of 2024? Construction Documents for Phase I of the streetscape, which will turn the design into a buildable reality. We are hopeful for Phase I Construction to begin in the Fall of 2025.

More exciting news in the Southwestern Medical District!

Children's Medical Center announces plans to expand their Dallas campus

There are so many exciting changes in store for the Southwestern Medical District! Children's Health announced earlier this month plans to expand their campus to a new 33.7-acre location in the Medical District so that they may be best equipped to serve a growing DFW metroplex and children population.

We are delighted about all of the innovative efforts working together to further the mission of health and healing in Dallas' Medical District and are proud to be doing our part to bring this mission outdoors to the public landscape.

2024 will be a year full of connections, discoveries, challenges, inspiration, progress, and more; all bringing us closer to a realized park and streetscape transformation in the Medical District. Thank YOU for your continued support of the project in 2023, we are thrilled about the transformation we are building together!
