PSALM 17:8

THE APPLE OF GOD’S EYE

If a mother says that her young son is the apple of her eye, it means that he is her pride and joy. She highly cherishes him and loves him dearly. That is the same relationship or position that King David desired to have with God. In Psalm 17:8 he wrote, “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings.”

David did not say to God, “make” me as the apple of [your] eye. He said, “Keep” me as the apple of the [your] eye. He already saw himself in that favored position. He as asking protection under God’s wings so that he would never lose that position of favor from God.

We know that David was indeed the favored apple of God’s eye since God brought Messiah through David’s blood line. However, you and I are now the apple of God’s eye since we have come through Jesus’ blood line. We are precious in His sight. He loves us more than we can comprehend. Yes, my friend, He loves you that much.

How much do YOU love Him? Would you give your life to Him? He gave HIS to you!

There is no greater honor in life than to be counted s a child of God. Do not take it lightly. Do not take it for granted. You are the apple of His eye.

EXTREMES

Early this week I heard the Lord speak and say extremes. He went on to show me that there will be extremes for both good and evil.

The evil will increase with signs and wonders that will bring great fear. There will be demonic beings showing themselves to entrap people in fear. The drones that people are seeing are demonic in nature. Do not entertain them! Those that do not know their authority through the name of Jesus will be caught up in this. He said Luke 21:26 will be playing out. It says, “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

There will be extremely cold weather also. Do not be surprised when there is no heat, or fuel to bring heat. Be prepared for this now. Do not wait. There will be storms that will intensify bringing much destruction in many places. There will be violent earthquakes that will bring much death and destruction. Nothing will be what we have called “normal” again.

It is no surprise that these things are going to take place, because Jesus told us it would happen nearly two thousand years ago! If we read the scriptures, we know it will happen.

On the good side of extremes, the Lord showed me that the remnant that are standing strong in their faith and authority through the name of Jesus will be doing mighty things. Miracles will happen instantly when there is a need. There will be such a strong show of the miraculous that many will come to the Lord because of this extreme faith. There will be miracles in multiplication of food, and every other need that one would need. This will be the “new normal” for those of the remnant that stand strong.

There will be extremes coming from both the dark side and God’s light. Be prepared for these extremes. Determine that you will be used by God in a mighty way for His glory.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Just know that real change will come when it HURTS so much you HAVE to change; When you LEARN so much you WANT to change…And when you RECEIVE so much you will WELCOME change! It’s true most of us just do NOT like any kind of change. However, we must accept that CHANGE is simply a part of God's PROCESS we all go THROUGH…While on the way to our life’s PURPOSE. So today STOP resisting the PROCESS; And allow God to mold you and make you into the vessel that He desires you to be. Unfortunately, that most always means that we WILL go THROUGH the Refiner's Fire to some degree. "Behold I have refined you, but not as silver, I have tested you in the furnace of affliction". (Malachi 3:3) So today try and stay open to CHANGE and get ready to experience a few fiery trials; Because it’ll take a trial or two for you to become fully prepared for God’s greatest blessings. Now you look up and look out; For you are blessed and highly favored and yes, that means…You have better days with lots better ways that are awaiting you.

Monday Thought For Today

Jesus birth-it happened.

He came to earth one day and our world hasn’t been the same.

What I find interesting is that we Christians spend so much time arguing about when it happened and if it isn’t a pagan holiday. In reality, both sides are correct. December 25th was chosen by someone to celebrate His birth and it coexisted with a pagan holiday. Many Biblical scholars now believe that He was born during the Jewish holy days of September or October.



Does it REALLY matter what day He was born? Our focal point should be why He came to earth and that He fulfills prophesy from Isaiah.

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Shouldn’t we focus on the real reason He was sent to us. “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Yes we want to celebrate His birth but honestly: this was a birth like no other. This Christmas take time to reflect on the reason He came! It was not for gifts and presents but it was to save us from eternal death in hell if we don’t repent of our sins.

A more sobering thought on Christmas.

 Agape love, the best kind of love to have.

 Loving to give and needing nothing back.

You find this love in the heart of God.

 He sent his Son, a Savior, this God above.

Oh, how blessed we are

To have this saving grace.

Agape love, to give such joy.

No need to give back, to repay.

The Lord will smile
