During its in-person and Zoom online meeting on January 28, the Session…
• learned that the church’s income for December was $111,641; expenses, $52,457; and net income, $59,184; for January through December 23, income was $839,365; expenses, $756,324; and net income, $83,041;
• learned their committee assignments for 2024:

Congregational Life – Karen Cochran and Julie Price

• learned that total pledges for 2024 were $758,497, a 7.9% increase over pledges for 2023;
• approved setting a Congregational Meeting for Sunday, February 11, following the 11:00 a.m. worship service, to consider approval of changes in the terms of call for the co-pastors;
• approved revising the Personnel Manual to reflect the new UKirk Program Coordinator position;
• nominated David Burkhart and Holly Mitchell to serve as commissioners to the presbytery meeting at Northern Heights Presbyterian Church in Selma on February 15;
• approved a request for the wedding of Brittany Dennis and Daniel Hancock to be held in the sanctuary on December 14, 2024;
• learned that Auburn AV will install the new sound system in the sanctuary on January 29 and provide training for using the system; and
• learned that attendance for the 11:00 a.m. worship service on December 23 was 110 and that attendance for the Christmas Eve service was 240.
