WHAT:

Crews are scheduled to continue work on a drainage system adjacent to Ritchey Street, which requires closing the street from Wright Street to E. St. Andrew Place. Local business access will be maintained.

WHEN:

Ritchey Street will be closed from 1 to 5 a.m. nightly, Monday, April 8 through Friday,

April 12.

This work may be loud. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

WHAT:

Southern California Edison (SCE) is scheduled to install new power lines across all lanes of SR-55.

This work will require a full closure of northbound and southbound SR-55 between Edinger Avenue and Dyer Road, as well as westbound Warner Avenue over SR-55.

Crews may need to return the following weekend to complete the work.

WHEN:

Northbound and southbound SR-55 as early as 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27. 

Tentative Closure: Southbound SR-55 between Edinger Avenue and Dyer Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4.

OCTA, in cooperation with Caltrans, is improving 4 miles of SR-55 between I-405 and I-5. The project will improve traffic flow and reduce travel time by adding one regular lane and one carpool lane in each direction. Also, the project will add merge lanes between several interchanges and stripe carpool lanes for continuous access, augmenting safety on the freeway by making merging easier. These enhancements are expected to create a better, smoother driving experience for motorists.
