In 2023, a $12,000 contribution from the Pelican Sound Charitable Foundation funded the DEMENTIA CAREGIVER SUPPORT & EDUCATION PROGRAM. The program provides training for caregivers of persons living with dementia-related diagnosis through their Savvy Caregiver and Dealing with Dementia courses. The center is also available to coach caregivers through daily challenges often encountered by those living with dementia and is available to support caregivers by offering crisis support.
