It was enjoyable to connect with friends, pastors, missionaries, church leaders, and more at our annual meeting. Several drove all the way from Calvary Baptist Church in Bishop, California, to be part of the evening, a 5-hour journey. VCN President David Whitaker and his wife Lynette flew in from South Carolina. Derek Webster, Missions Door President, was there in person from Indiana. I know it's February in SoCal, but thanks for coming. Thanks to all of you for coming. It is a joy to serve together. Our theme at the annual meeting was to be joyful - all the time. I shared a short message from Psalm 33.
Rejoice that this World is the Lord's. Let the whole world fear the Lord, and let everyone stand in awe of him. For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command. 33:8-9
Rejoice that he is Sovereign. The Lord frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. 33:10
Rejoice that God's plan cannot be shaken. But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.33:11-12
In this world, no matter what, rejoice. Christians can be joyful in the midst of anything because we know where we are going, who wins in the end, and the best is yet to come. Be joyful - always.
I hope you enjoy the newsletter. Please plan on attending our Preaching Workshop in a few weeks... we preachers can always try to improve our communication skills. Hopefully, I'll see some of you there. Thanks for what you do!

Estate Planning Seminar
Make time to attend this seminar if you can. Planning ahead with a living trust or will can help keep your assets in the family and out of the courts. This seminar will demonstrate why and how you should have one and how to get one done for the benefit of your family and the Kingdom. Our friends at the Baptist Foundation of California are hosting this seminar for our PCN churches to help you as you encourage your members to consider the Biblical and legal bases of Christian estate stewardship. The Foundation offers FREE estate plans to Senior Pastors who desire to leave a legacy gift for their church or other Kingdom causes. A licensed California attorney will give attendees an overview of estate planning options and provide strategies to help believers protect their futures, provide for their families, and generate ongoing resources for Kingdom ministries. Join us for an informative workshop and enjoy a tour of Gateway Seminary. Includes lunch and is FREE.

Newest Church Plant in Dallas, TX
At our annual meeting, our Church Planting Director, JD Pearring, a church planter himself years ago, introduced and interviewed our newest church planter, Daniel Gray. Daniel is the Pastor of the Divine House of Deliverance, which started in his home in 2021. He recently learned of PCN through JD and wanted to join our network. DHOD is currently renting space in a church but should soon be able to rent another property they can use 24/7. Daniel and his wife, De'Shambriel, have four children. Daniel also works full-time with Geico, and Dee works in the medical profession. It was a pleasure to hear him and get to know him better. PCN is proud to have DHOD as our newest church plant!

CB Global and Pacific Church Network
CB Global, which started in 2006 in the Philippines, has now become a ministry of the Pacific Church Network. After COVID-19, the CB Global founder passed on to heaven, and official documents were lost. Rather than restart the incorporation process, becoming a ministry of PCN will enable them to officially continue their work. The CB Global Council voted to request to become a part of PCN, and our board approved their request. CB Global currently has a council comprising nine church networks in Asia and India. They meet annually to pray, share news of their associations, and plan how to encourage and equip one another. We are excited to help this ministry continue and grow.
PCN Annual Meeting Recap
A great group of about 200 people came for an encouraging night to gather, worship, and hear what God is doing: locally, within our network; around the country with Venture Church Network; and around the world with VCN Chaplaincy, CBGlobal, WorldVenture, and Missions Door. Thank you to The Mount Bible Church in Winnetka for hosting our event and for the very helpful army of staff and volunteers that gave their time to serve in so many ways. We are truly grateful! What a great evening of celebrating what God has done and will continue to do until he comes again.

A Church Without Walls
Christian Fellowship Church is not a brick-and-mortar structure. “Now you [Christians] are the body of Christ and individually members of it” (1 Cor. 12:27). COVID and the moving of members made this even more true to us as we moved to online services and a focus on ministry. We have done more than we ever thought possible as a brick-and-mortar church. Members can tune in even if they are traveling or have moved away. We have attendees who listen to the Word of God and worship with our church from Canada, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and different states in the USA. During COVID, Pastors in the Philippines were left sick, dying, and hungry due to a lack of tithes and offerings. No church service, no support! Yet they still pushed to the front lines and continued to deliver God's word. This passion inspired us to create the Pastoral Assistance Program. We were able to assist five Pastors, giving them help to live and survive. We support other missions like Pacific Church Network and Dr. Melicor’s medical missions. We also developed the Pastors' Emergency Fund, where more resources could be used to aid pastors in dire need. With every Pastor we help, another ministry rises, and more souls are reached and won. With our core Pastors, Jun and Eloi, leading us and our members’ and Elders’ support, one by one, seeds are planted, nurtured, and deeply rooted. All you need is a phone or computer. Join us as we continue in Jesus’ love and hope in the church without walls. Praise be to God!

From Brad Franklin: "One of the greatest gifts I ever received as a pastor was when our elder board said, 'We’d like you to have a sabbatical.' I have since enjoyed a sabbatical every five years, and these have been life-giving both to me and to our church." Brad is offering to give any Lead Pastor a five-week sabbatical. All he asks is that the church provides lodging. That's it. This is a wonderful gift from a former Venture Church Network pastor. Give your pastor a rest. Find out more.
