Hello First Branch,
Spring is something else this year! We are looking forward to seeing all our students tomorrow. Tomorrow is the solar eclipse! Below are details for both campuses. There are enough glasses for all students and faculty. Wearing the glasses is critical for viewing the solar eclipse.
CPS:
CPS will attend an off-site field trip. Mr. Franske has worked with several outside professionals on the arrangements. We will notify you via Blackboard (phone, email, and text) if there is a delay. If, for some reason, those systems are impacted, we still ask for families to arrive at 4:30 pm and wait for the bus to arrive. Every student needs to be signed out prior to departing CPS. This will look similar to the Tunbridge Fair pickup. If there is someone other than the parent/guardian picking up the student, we need this in writing in advance from the student's parent/guardian.
Prek dismissal from aftercare will run like a usual day. \
TCS:
If your child plans to stay after school, please communicate this with the front office before 1pm on Monday. We know that not all permission slips were returned with two unexpected snow days. We do need a permission slip for your student to stay. No verbal permission slips will be accepted. Please see the link to the permission below if you need a copy. We also have copies in the office. In addition, if your child needs care after 4pm, a family will need to formally register with One Planet.
If your child is not staying for the solar eclipse, bus routes and pickup will run as usual.
We are also open to parent helpers during the after school program. Please contact the main office if you are interested in helping.
