Campus Event Reminder: Jordan Davis concert, WKU Football vs. Liberty tonight
WKU Football will face Liberty at 6:30 tonight at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. The game is a Black Out and will be televised nationally on ESPNU. A free pregame concert by Jordan Davis will begin at 5 p.m. on the South Lawn. At 2:30 p.m., WKU offices will operate with minimal staffing; classes will continue as scheduled. (Read more about today’s campus schedule) Tailgating areas will open at 2:30 p.m. WKU Alumni Tailgate & Celebrate will begin at 4 p.m. on the South Lawn.

Spotlight: Theatre Production
The Department of Theatre & Dance will present Child of the Night: Pirates of the Mediterranean this weekend at the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center's Russell H. Miller Theatre.
2023-2024 Connie Foster Student Scholarship recipients
WKU students Avery Pope and Tameka Ferguson have been awarded the 2023-2024 WKU Libraries Connie Foster Student Scholarship Endowment. The scholarship aims to provide financial support to students pursuing their academic goals.
Forensics wins at Marshall
The WKU Forensics team captured the overall team sweepstakes championship at the Marshall University Memorial Tournament and Ohio University Swing hosted on the campus of Marshall University October 21-22.
HRL honored at conference
WKU Housing & Residence Life brought home five awards and was the recipient of one scholarship at the Kentucky Association of Housing Officers (KAHO) Conference last week at Bellarmine University.
WKU Professor Chris Groves recognized for work in China
WKU University Distinguished Professor of Hydrogeology Chris Groves and his wife, Deana, recently returned from Beijing, China, where he was honored with The China Government Friendship Award, the country’s highest award for “foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country’s economic and social progress.” 
Student Publications business groups win national awards
Cherry Creative and Student Publications Advertising received multiple awards in the 2023 College Media Business & Advertising Managers annual contest.

Hilltopper Fieldhouse
WKU unveiled plans Friday for a new state-of-the-art fieldhouse and press box. The Hilltopper Fieldhouse will be home to the WKU Forensics and E-Sports programs, as well as provide practice and training space for the Big Red Marching Band and Hilltopper Athletics.
Hilltopper Hysteria
Hilltopper Hysteria, WKU's annual tip-off event for Hilltopper and Lady Topper Basketball, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Diddle Arena. Admission is free and open to the public; doors will open at 5:30 p.m. WKU Cheer will perform at 6:15 p.m., followed by introductions for each team at 6:30. More: Event Parking
