The Danville Pittsylvania Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrates the recent graduation of our President & CEO, Anne Moore-Sparks, from the prestigious 2024 Lead Virginia Cohort. This milestone highlights her commitment to advancing leadership and collaboration in our region.

Anne joined an accomplished group of 42 individuals from across the Commonwealth, each dedicated to addressing Virginia’s most pressing opportunities and challenges. The program, renowned for fostering high-performing, solutions-oriented leaders, equips its participants to bridge regional divides, identify shared priorities, and advocate for wise public policy that propels Virginia forward.

“Lead Virginia is the premier leadership program in the Commonwealth,” said Anne Moore-Sparks, President and CEO. “I was humbled to have been chosen to represent our region and honored to now be among 900+ alumni who work tirelessly to support their communities. A special thanks to the Danville Regional Foundation for making this happen for me and other regional leaders.”

Adding a personal touch to the occasion, Dr. Shannon Hair, our Incoming Board Chair and a 2023 Lead Virginia graduate, attended Anne’s graduation to show his support. Their shared experience underscores the Chamber’s commitment to fostering transformative leadership within our region and beyond.

Founded with the mission of addressing the challenges and opportunities unique to each of Virginia’s diverse regions, Lead Virginia provides a platform for building social capital and developing a statewide perspective. Anne’s participation in the program was generously supported by the Danville Regional Foundation, which has been instrumental in empowering regional leaders to access this transformative experience.
