Teddy Gram Direct is Ready to Spread Some Love

Teddy Gram Direct is a district-based student enterprise where our students with disabilities work alongside their non-disabled peers and staff to create stuffed animals for sale around the county. To purchase a teddy bear for delivery to a school campus, visit Teddy Gram Direct to place your order via checkout on MySchoolBucks.


Orders must be submitted by February 9th to guarantee delivery on February 14th, so order today! Please remember to pick your school location to ensure proper delivery, as well as the student and their teacher's name.

Wekiva Elementary Students Win Art Contest


Wekiva Elementary had not just one, but TWO winners for Pet Alliance drawing contest!


The contest was open to all K-5 students in Orange and Seminole County. The winning drawing will be printed on all the dog bandanas sold at the Paws in the Park event.

SCPS VPK Registration Coming Soon

Registration for the 2024-2025 VPK School Year at SCPS locations begins on February 5th. To be eligible for VPK, a child must be four years of age by September 1, 2024.


SCPS VPK offers a high-quality program designed to prepare students to enter Kindergarten ready to learn!

Free Family Events

Reading Paws helps young readers gain confidence and practice fluency by reading out loud to a trained therapy dog. Call or stop by the library to register for a 15-minute time slot. Registration is required.

Seminole County's Touch-a-Truck event returns this year at the Sanford Riverwalk on Saturday, February 3, kicking off Florida Severe Weather Awareness Week.


Kids and families of all ages can check out the trucks, boats, helicopters, and heavy equipment that local agencies use to respond to severe weather and other disasters.
