The key decisions made at the HOA Board Meeting were:
1. Simplify and shorten the community's rules and regulations document by removing unnecessary or outdated sections.
2. Proceed with three capital projects using Robert Scheffel’s bids totaling $7,645, which includes a 10% contingency. The contractor is bonded and insured.
3. Draft language changing occupancy requirements. This will go to a member vote by ballot.
4. Hold an informational meeting on April 4 and a special member meeting on May 9 to vote on the ballot.
5. Members of the Property Maintenance Committee are tasked with formulating the wording for notifications and fines related to property maintenance, ensuring compliance with A.R.S. 33-1803. The drafted language will then be submitted to the board for approval.
6. In order to keep our current parking restrictions, an item is added to the ballot.
7. The 9-month minimum residency requirement for board members is added to the ballot.
The Board would like to thank all the residents who have taken the time to maintain their yards by removing weeds. Your efforts have contributed to the beauty of our community. For those who haven’t had a chance to clean their yards, we kindly encourage you to do so at your earliest convenience. A clean yard enhances your home's aesthetic appeal and contributes to our community's overall charm.
