Indigent Defense

The Connecticut Concert for Indigent Defense celebrates “Gideon Day” (the anniversary of the Sixth Amendment Right to Counsel) and our continued fight for dignity, justice, and hope in the criminal legal system. This concert brings people together to build community and raise awareness that all voices are needed in the ongoing fight to make “justice for all” a reality.

General Admission Tickets are available starting at $15

Immerse yourself and your whole family in an afternoon with the professional musicians of the Norwalk Symphony as they bring Shakespeare to life through music, acting, and jest. The music of Romeo and Juliet by both Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev are paired with Shakespeare on the Sound’s “R+J4evr” for an unforgettable fusion of music and theatre.

Greater Bridgeport Symphony Concert Saturday March 16th @ 8:00pm

The flute figures prominently with solos by GBS’ own Grammy® nominated Principal Flautist, Keith Bonner. Debussy’s ethereal Afternoon of a Faun, Paul Schoenfeld’s Klezmer Rondos, and African-American composer Jessie Montgomery’s Coincident Dances surround Schubert’s Symphony No. 5.  Not “The Magic Flute,” but a whole night of the magic of the flute!

This competitive KEYS Scholarship is available to Greater Bridgeport Area graduating seniors with an upcoming high school diploma or GED; who have participated in any of the KEYS programs for a minimum of three years, and are committed to attending a Two (2) or Four (4)-year College, University, or post-secondary career training certificate program.

Students do not need to pursue a Music major or career to qualify.
