GUNAA National President

C/O F'91

As the fall semester kicks off at 'dear ole Grambling,' our excitement knows no bounds for the upcoming sports season. Get ready to rally behind our Lady Tigers, the G-men, and our stellar Men's sports teams! We can't wait to see you at the many thrilling events ahead.

While I traverse the nation, I'm continually grateful for the unwavering love and support that defines GramFam. Serving as your National President, representing the 45,000 proud alumni of Grambling State University (GSU), remains an honor beyond measure. Our journey together is far from over, and I'm counting on you to stand with us both locally and nationally, especially on our beloved GSU campus.

Let's keep our focus sharp on the top two GUNAA priorities: First, let's double our membership engagement from 3,000 to 6,000 strong. Second, let's elevate our fundraising efforts from $1 million to an impressive $5 million. I wholeheartedly believe in our ability to surpass these crucial benchmarks, and I humbly ask for your unwavering prayers and support in this endeavor.

There are numerous GUNAA committees that could greatly benefit from your time and talents. Please consider dedicating just 1-2 hours per month to support the essential work we have ahead to ensure the thriving success of GUNAA. Moreover, I encourage you to start contemplating taking on a national leadership role as we approach the 2024 elections. The stage will be set at our national convention in Houston, TX, where the winners will be revealed.

In the Tiger Spirit,

GOLDEN TIGER ANNOUNCEMENT

GUNAA boasts an impressive lineage of GRAMFAM members spanning five to six generations! To cater to the diverse needs of our extended family, we are commited to organizing events, enhancing communication, and more. In light of this commitment, we kindly request our esteemed GOLDEN TIGERS to get in touch with our national office at 318.247.6770 if they require hard copies of materials or phone services. To ensure fairness and prioritize those who truly need assistance (specifically, individuals with disabilities or those lacking access to email and/or cellphones), we operate on an honor system. We appreciate your understanding in allowing this limited capacity to be available for those members who rely on it to stay connected with the alumni association.
