A letter from Principal Bowen


With the new year we are happily kicking off year two of our Snow Cat’s program. This year we have doubled the number of skiers at 50! We are also excited to have expanded the Snow Cats skating program to a multi week program for 48 kids who wanted more time skating! For those students who are not participating in Snowcats this year classroom teachers are planning some fun standalone outside and baking activities. We are so excited for the opportunity the Snow Cats program will provide our Wildcat students!

We had a great winter carnival. Big news was that the freshmen class beat the seniors in tug of war. It was a HUGE upset and a fun day of activities. Coach Tim Perreault was recognized for coaching for 35 years. He started his career at Washington, Chelsea, Whitcomb, and finished here at WRVHS. We had one of our graduates visit us and is doing great in the service! Joelle van Lent spoke at our inservice on January 2nd. She spoke about Executive Functioning skills. We will be doing more work on this in our advisory.

WRUD School Board News

A Letter from the WRUD School Board


...Future proposed projects include the creation of the Performing Arts Center and upgrades to the old gym at the high school, better ventilation in the library and cafeteria on the Royalton campus, and new entrances at both campuses. There will be a presentation at the January  board meeting outlining costs and bond numbers. The board will vote at the February meeting on whether to go forward with these plans...
