Sunday School, 9:15 - 10:10 AM
Children's Sunday School will meet in the Multi-purpose Room to learn about The Saint John's Bible. Youth meet in the High School Room for Disciples and Dragons.
Pageant Rehearsal, 12:00 in the Sanctuary
If you missed last week's first pageant rehearsal, no worries! Rehearsals continue this Sunday and on Sundays through December 8 from 12:00 - 12:30 PM, with a final dress rehearsal on December 14 at 2:00 PM. Contact Bailey or Amalia with any questions. Pageant on Dec. 15, 10:30 AM Service.

Thanksgiving Donation Drive Appreciation
Thanks to your generosity, 106 bags of food, 40+ turkeys, and $600 in gift cards were distributed across four Outreach Partners (Mercy's Gate, Partners in Housing, Academy District 20 Family Resource, Care & Share). Your kindness and compassion are a true reflection of Christ's love, and together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

Christmas Light Festival
Build & Event Volunteers

Speaking of gratitude, it's beginning to look A LOT like Christmas thanks to the roughly 60 volunteers who showed up last weekend for the Light Festival Build! We still need any and all help today and tomorrow. Please also sign up now to help on one of the Festival nights (December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21). THIS IS OUR LARGEST OUTREACH INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR, and we need your support to ensure its success. *There will be a Volunteer Dinner and Light Festival Walk-through on Thursday, December 5 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM so please mark your calendars for that!

Greening of the Church
Monday, November 25
9:00 AM - Noon
As we prepare for the celebration of Christ's birth, we will adorn the church with greens for the season of Advent. We are particularly needing some muscles - and ladder skills - to position trees in various locations, including above the altar, and to hang garland up high. Come for some or all of the morning as your schedule permits.

2025 Stewardship Update
Congratulations!
On behalf of the Vestry, Clergy, & Stewardship Team, thank you for your generosity and committment to supporting St. Michael's in 2025. We have heard from 241 homes that have pledged $978,861. We have official reached our goal (woohoo) and we are still waiting to hear from several more homes. In the coming weeks the Finance Committee and Vestry will be approving a balanced budget because of your generosity. Thank you!

A Look Ahead....
December 1: Advent Festival, 9:15 - 10:10
This annual intergenerational event is a wonderful opportunity to prepare for the coming Christ child. Join us for crafts - to include making Advent Wreaths - and fellowship!
December 8: Sandwich Sunday, 9:15 - 10:10
For this intergenerational activity, we'll be learning more about our food insecure neighbors in Colorado Springs and sharing God's love beyond our walls by making sandwiches for those in need.
December 15: Christmas Pageant, 10:30 AM Service
Join us for this beautiful tradition, where our young ones will share the joy and wonder of the season through song, scripture, and heartfelt performances. It’s sure to be a highlight of the season!

Lessons & Carols
December 5, 7:00 PM
The Seraphim choir will be kicking off the holidays with our first annual Lessons & Carols Service on Thursday, December 5. This beautiful service will feature selections from the cantata A Celebration of Carols by Joseph M. Martin, along with favorite sing-along carols from Christmas and Advent, readings from The Saint John’s Bible, and special guest soloists. This performance is sure to awaken your spirit and ignite the hope of the holiday season! Enjoy a sneak peak of the Light Festival afterward as well!

Advent Retreat
December 7, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Join the Well for a retreat exploring spiritual practices, including meditation, prayer, history, and music. Be surprised by the lessons offered by our story's unnamed little saints. Explore the wonder of the sacred working through ordinary people on unexpected paths. We ask participants to consider donating $20 to cover the retreat costs. Lunch will be provided.

40s & 50s Trivia Night
December 10, 6:30 PM
It's a pre-holiday Game Night! Join at Red Leg Brewing for Trivia Night featuring Picture Mashups, Name That Year, Music & Movie clips, Retro TV Theme Songs, and more! There will also be a White Elephant gift exchange. Bring an amusing gift that is under $10 to be exchanged during the friendly Trivia competition. Please RSVP to save your seat at the tables.

International Partners
Interest Meeting, Dec. 11
Jesus said in Mt. 28:19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations." St. Michael's has begun the process of forming a group that will be a part of the outreach committee focused on missions and international partnerships. If you have an interest in international ministries, you are invited to the next meeting which will be held on December 11 at 2:00 PM at the church. Christmas Poinsettias & Brass Donations
Due December 13
Each year our staff and volunteers work hard to fill the church with beautiful poinsettias and glorious brass music (at 4:00 & 7:00 PM) for our Christmas Eve services. You are encouraged to help by making a donation in thanksgiving for or in memory of a loved one. Names will be printed in the Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Bulletins.

Newcomer Ambassadors
New Ministry Opportunity!
We continue to be blessed with newcomers at St. Michael’s every Sunday! In 2025, we are starting a Newcomer Ambassador ministry dedicated to these visitors. Ambassadors can serve in one (or more!) of three ways: 1) Being available at the Welcome Table before and after services to serve as a resource for any visitors; 2) Delivering Welcome Bags of bread and other St. Michael’s information to Newcomers 3) Baking bread for the Welcome Bags. End of Year Donations & Stock Transfers
New Accounts & Important Dates
If you regularly donate stock, please be aware that St. Michael’s has recently changed our accounts. Please contact our Finance Manager, Jan McLaughlin, to obtain the new DTC and account numbers. Stock gifts must be initiated by December 1 to ensure the donation will be completed by the end of the year for tax purposes.
As a reminder for year-end giving, please submit all online contributions by December 27 to ensure delivery by December 31. All checks must be dated no later than December 31 and be received by the first week in January 2025. Please contact Jan at finance@stmikeschurch.com with any questions about giving.

Communications Coordinator
Job Opening
Ama Couch's season as our Communications Coordinator is coming to an end, so we are looking for someone to fill this role. If you know anyone who may be a candidate for this part-time paid position (approximately 20 hours a week), please reach out to Rev. Matt, matt@stmikeschurch.com.
