“This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me.”

Luke 22:19

March 04, 2024

From the Desk of Mr. Marty Van Hulle, Principal

SAL Parents:

As we enter the final trimester of the year, plans have already begun for the 2024-25 school year. Registration for next year is all but complete as is the school calendar. Click here for the digital calendar. As you review the school calendar, please note that the vast majority of items have been solidified; however, events such as birthday blessings might be subject to change based on Father Tony’s availability. Please note that we have added a Spring Break (the last full week of March) due to the late arrival of Easter in 2025. As a result, we have a shorter break in the days surrounding the Triduum.

We have a School Advisory Commission meeting scheduled for next Monday, March 11 beginning at 6:00 in the church. Any parent interested in serving on the commission next year is invited to attend. If you have any questions about the commission, please feel free to reach out to Ashley Packee at Ashley.packee@gmail.com .

And a final reminder to please be sure your child(ren) have cold lunches packed for this Thursday, March 7 as we are hosting the Catholic Charities Luncheon and won’t have access to the PLC that day. Milk will be provided to students as they eat in their classrooms.

Enjoy the sunshine!

Take care and God bless,

M. Van Hulle

Principal, SAL

Help Needed

We are looking for assistance with our after school EDC Program – specifically, from the 2:30 – 3:30 time frame. Monday’s and Thursday’s are our greatest need. If you, or anyone you know is interested in volunteering or taking on a paid position is EDC, please let us know.

Greeters at Sunday Mass

Would your family like to greeters on Sunday Mornings at Church? Greeters play an important part in welcoming parishioners and visitors to Mass each week. Greeters have several important duties before Mass begins. They welcome people into the building, show them where to hang coats, where to find the restrooms and where the childcare room is.

How does your family become Greeters? You will need to contact the Music and Liturgy Office and have your family’s name added to the Greeters Participation Group of MySAL. Once your name is in the Participation Group you can go in at anytime and sign up for the date and Mass time you wish.

If you have any questions, contact Vincent LaTona in the Prayer and Worship Office at 262 691-1173 ex. 1109 or by email at latonav@stanthony.cc.
