Are you passionate about cultural celebrations and interested in positively impacting our community? The Vessels Cultural Committee invites you to be a part of the team by volunteering to plan, coordinate, and execute various cultural events. We seek enthusiastic parents, families, and students who share our excitement for cultural diversity and want to contribute to our vibrant community.
Ways to get involved!
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Plan and coordinate cultural events
- Research and present information on cultural observances
- Help organize flag ceremony events
- Encourage your kids to participate in flag ceremony events
Inclusive Participation:
- Families will be contacted based on their interest and availability.
- Participation is open to ALL students, regardless of their heritage.
- This is a fantastic opportunity for students who want to learn more about different cultures.
What Participation Entails:
- Learning performances
- Attending all practices
- Supplying your children with possible costumes
- Participating in rehearsals
- Collaborating to ensure the success of each event
Preference will be given to:
- Children of parents organizing a Cultural Celebration
- 6th-grade students participating in their final Flag Ceremonies
- Students signing up for only one Cultural Celebration
