Yes, my soul, find rest in God;

    my hope comes from him.

Truly he is my rock and my salvation;

    he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. - Psalm 62:5-6

We live in a shaken world and so did the author of Psalm 62.  It was most certainly a king, possibly King David who wrote it.  His enemies were trying to dethrone him, but the Psalmist rested in the Lord stating “I will not be shaken” and neither will we.

This Sunday we jump headfirst into a new sermon series titled UNSHAKABLE.  Below are the weekly Old Testament and New Testament Readings. Each week, we will read Psalm 62 and declare, “I will not be shaken.”

See you Sunday - I can't wait!

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
