Your Sunshine on a Cloudy Day
We're focused on sunshine for Saturday (mind over weather), but should a few showers dare to pop-up, we will not be deterred. Rain or shine, we'll be there with big smiles and a bounty of fall food - from hearty pot pies to plump, jolly pumpkins and lotsa squash. Spinach returns this week (so sweet). And people, can we talk about all the beautiful peppers? NOW is the time to freeze these beauties for the winter! Think big pots of chili, stuffed peppers, soups and stews. Apples are everywhere - more sweet, tart, and juicy varieties arriving every week. Plus fresh pressed cider, donuts, dumpling and pies. Oh, and the allure of autumn flowers... don't miss those dahlias, and all the other goodness coming to the market tomorrow.

Stock up this week because we're closed Saturday October 7th for Easton Garlic Fest!

Phillips Farms
Spinach is back! Fresh local spinach is so much different than what you will find at the grocery store with its large leaves and amazing flavor. Phillips Farms will have plenty this Saturday. Also available: Cauliflower (purple, orange and white), broccoli, winter squash, fennel, leeks, arugula, lettuce, radishes, Jersey tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, peppers, Brussels sprouts, green beans, carrots, kale, Swiss chard, beets, onions, potatoes, garlic, fresh herbs and more.  Fruits include grapes (last of the season!), Bartlett and Asian Pears and many varieties of sweet crunchy apples. Get there early for their Honeycrisp Apple Cider and fragrant Eucalyptus because they sell out quickly week after week.
Scholl Orchards
We're now up to nine apples at Scholl's - Honeycrisp, Ludacrisp, Crimson Gold, Crimson Crisp, Gala, Fuji, Macintosh, Macoun, and Cortland. What's your favorite? If you prefer to drink your apples, the Scholl crew is pressing fresh cider for the weekend. Psst... we hear there will be lots more apple cider donuts too!
If pears are your preference, there are Bartlett and Seckel to choose from. We'd suggest pairing them with a nice Camembert or blue cheese from Raspberry Ridge.

On the veggie end of the spectrum, are tomatoes (keep 'em coming), zucchini, cucumbers, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, wax beans, green beans, pepper and eggplant.
Cabbage Throw Farm
Cabbage Throw Farm has officially completed this season’s winter squash harvest! Varieties available throughout the fall and winter months will include delicata, acorn, spaghetti, winter sweet, buttercup, honeynut, butternut and autumn frost.

Stock up on all storage veggies and extra greens to keep your fridge full for the next two week, as there is no market next weekend.
