KODIAK WEEKLY BULLETIN

2024 is off to a great start at CSS!

Please enjoy the division director newsletters highlighting all the wonderful things happening in your child's classrooms next week.

We are excited to gather and enjoy Dessert Theatre next week, a long tradition of over 50 years at CSS with our Lower School students and their families as they present a variety of performances and music.

Spring Production for Upper School

We are thrilled to announce the Upper School theatre production of Starmites! Upper School students are invited to audition--see dates below for full details. We encourage you all to participate if you can!

Welcoming Dr. Ryan Kelly in February

Save the Dates! Incoming Head of School Dr. Ryan Kelly and his family will be visiting campus from February 9-14, and we will be sending out invitations for a variety of events during that time. It will be a great chance to welcome him and his family to CSS! Watch out for more details in the coming weeks. Our greater community is already extending a warm welcome. Here is a Gazette article highlighting his announcement to our broader Pikes Peak region.

Faculty & Staff News

We were notified last night by Vicki Vaughan, our Director of Athletics and Community Safety & Engagement Coordinator, as well as the girls' basketball coach, that she is resigning, effective on January 22. Facilities Manager Brad Fienen and his team are taking over campus safety and security. We are currently working on a solution to provide continuity and stability with the other roles. Vicki has been a long-time member of our CSS community and we are grateful for her passion and service to CSS.

Wishing our Upper School basketball on Saturday at Burlington a great game! Join us for the last Kodiak Middle School basketball games today beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Tutt Field House.
