RESILIENCE IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY
The Lord is showing me that many of you are trying to find strength in the midst of chaos. You feel as if you had the wind knocked out of your sails, and this spiritual battle is taking a toll on your physical body and your mind. You are so worn down from this warfare that you are thinking of giving up the fight. That’s exactly what the enemy wants you to do, but if you don’t quit you will emerge victorious.
People are wondering where they stand, and where they are supposed to go next. Some even wonder if they missed God’s will and doubt that they are on the right road to their destiny. You may have been going from the fiery furnace to the lion’s den, encountering one battle after another, but Gods strength is made perfect in weakness.
We serve a God of mercy and not the author of confusion. In the natural the enemy has done all that he could to sabotage Jesus’ plan for our lives but The LORD, says; to rejoice, because He is about to step in. Just like in a pregnancy, when the third trimester hits, giving up is not an option. This is the time that the real work begins and the final push will make all the difference. Get ready to push, because our breakthrough is imminent.
Some time ago The LORD showed me this analogy and I want to share it again. He showed me how a luxury car must go through greater testing than an inexpensive car before it is released. To test a Mercedes they may have to hit a wall to test its strength. They will perform crash tests to test the amount of pressure it could stand.
They will run it through all seasons to check its performance and tolerance to adverse weather patterns. It will be tested through the snow, the rain, the heat and extreme weather conditions. They will also test it on the mountains to see if it could pass the test of perseverance, stability and excellence.
They will test it on sharp turns and U turns to make sure it is agile enough for the winding roads and they will test it on rocky roads to test its endurance. The reason why it needs more testing than an inexpensive car is because it has to be proven for what it is worth. We are also tested and tried for our worth.
Although things in your life haven't gone according to what you have planned, the Lord is preparing you for the greater works ahead. Stay strong through the difficult seasons, as you endure everything that comes your way. Don’t let the challenges discourage you, but rather use them to become stronger and more resilient
Don’t wrestle when your circumstances drive you in a different direction than you expected, but through it all understand the preparation for where He is taking you. As you learn how to stay strong in times of adversity, He will entrust you with greater responsibilities. Allow Jesus to restructure your life, and make the proper adjustments so that you could be effective in all that He’s called you to do.
Change is always necessary for your spiritual growth. Stay in His timing. Don’t try to do things in your own strength, and don’t try to birth something out of season or it will become an Ishmael. Refuse to be led by your emotions. Don’t allow frustration to overwhelm you. As you continue to resist the opposition that comes against you, His Glory will increase in your life, and you will be effective for His service.
Psalm 105:19

But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
