The Gethsemane Children's Ministry would like to send a BIG thank you to the congregation for your continued support of the Fall Festival. Thank you to members of the Choir, WELCA, Food Pantry, Men in Mission, and Katrina's Cocoon Crew for working game booths, Amazing Aaron for performing for families, Cal Streeter for donating candy, Ron Tigue for setting up and working the sound system, Dean & Dave Haight for trimming bushes, Raquel and Martin Gonzales for preparing the lawn and clean up. We are truly grateful to everyone who made our event so successful by bidding on items, attending, or volunteering at the event. It was a wonderful day and to top it off, we raised approx $5000. Praise Pumpkin Patch
We have our Praise Pumpkin Patch set up again this year in the Gethsemane Garden. All are welcome to enjoy and take photos in the patch throughout the month of November!

Men in Mission
Thursday, November 16, 9 am
Men in Mission will tour Community First! Village, a master-planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for those coming out of chronic homelessness. Preceding the tour, Dr. Cal Streeter and Glenn Hjelm will speak to our group about their community outreach activities.

Youth-Led Thanksgiving Eve Worship
Wednesday, November 22, 7 pm
Worship on Thanksgiving Eve at the annual Youth-Led Praise and Thanksgiving Worship. The spirit of Thanksgiving is to give, so please bring food donations for the Gethsemane Food Pantry. The annual Angel Giving Tree will be on display in the Narthex. Choose an ornament for holiday donations to T.A. Brown Elementary School families. A take-home Advent devotional will also be available in the Narthex. Advent begins on Sunday, December 3.

Annual Gethsemane and San Lucas Encuentro/Encounter Weekend
January 12-14, 2024
Registration is open for this special “encounter” or “encuentro” weekend for Gethsemane and San Lucas congregations to work side by side and expand our vision of ministry together. San Lucas is celebrating their 36-year history and Gethsemane has been a part of that ministry for over 27 years. Learn more and register.

Operation Christmas Gift
Shoeboxes are available in the Narthex for members to take home and fill up for children of various ages. Please return filled shoeboxes no later than December 1. This year's boxes will be distributed to families in Killeen, TX.
