This weeks highlighted career and competition areas are Millwright and Sprinkler Fitter! 

Millwright (Industrial Mechanic)

• Industrial mechanics involves the installations, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of stationary industrial machinery, as well as mechanical equipment in factories, production plants and recreational facilities 
• This is a Red Seal Certified Trade
• This competition is run at the Skills Canada BC Provincial Competition at the Post-Secondary level

Sprinker Fitter

• Sprinkler system installers fabricate, install, test, maintain and repair water, foam, carbon dioxide and dry chemical sprinkler system s in buildings for fire protection purposes
• This is a Red Seal Certified Trade
• This competition is run at the Skills Canada BC Provincial Competition at the Post-Secondary level
