Happy New Year to each of you! As we dive into 2024, we are reminded to seek the Lord in all things.

Jesus tells us in John 17:3, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Here Jesus is telling us that continuing to seek God and desiring to know Him more is the essence of true life; eternal life. The most important thoughts our minds can entertain are thoughts of God, because that will determine the quality and direction of our lives. Seeking God, then, is an ongoing responsibility and privilege for all Christians.

Isaiah 55:6 says: “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.” Additionally, Romans 12:2 says: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

The idea is that, when we draw near to God, He reveals Himself and His will to us. God does not hide Himself from the seeking heart.

This year, let's make it a goal to actively seek the Lord and His will for our lives, while He may be found.

Game Nights are designed to be an evening of fellowship, casual sport activities and board games/cards. All ages (0 to 100) welcome, but children (8th grade and younger) must attend with an adult unless they are in high school. Bring your favorite board/card game to teach others how to play.

Baptism Service

Crossroads will hold its next Baptism Service on January 14th after third service at 12:45 pm. Childcare will be provided during the baptism for children ages birth-5yrs old.
