Thank You to MCA and MSAB for Visiting Southeastern Minnesota

On Tuesday, December 12, representatives from Minnesota Citizens for the Arts (MCA) and the Minnesota State Arts Board (MSAB) made two stops in Southeastern Minnesota to hear from artists, arts organizations, community leaders, business owners, and residents about the impact of the arts on their lives and communities.

The meet ups were hosted by our friends at the Rochester Center for the Arts and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum in Winona, and both saw a great turnout! We also shared two new outdoor murals with MCA and MSAB -- "Public Places are Sacred Spaces" by Sue Mundy in Wabasha and the Honoring Dakota Project mural in Red Wing.

Thanks to everyone who joined these meet-ups and a special thanks to MCA for leading the effort for us to come together in support of the arts.

Save the Date! MCA's Arts Advocacy Day is Tuesday, March 5, in St. Paul, MN. Join together with arts enthusiasts from across the state to advocate for the importance of the arts and arts funding to our lives and our economies.
