Dear Families,

Thank YOU to everyone who made An Evening at the Barn event a success! We enjoyed lots of fun and fundraising all centered around supporting our students and teachers. Because of the support which included sponsorships and donations, we surpassed our goal and raised $125,000 for Calverton! This is amazing!

Special thank you to the event chairs who brought vision and life to the event: Jacki Bell, Jenna Winegardner, and Elyse McKinstry. Many thanks to all the volunteers who offered their helping hands and time to manage all the details from the table decorations to soliciting auction items. Special thanks to Crystal Barker, Erika Bottalico, Amy Brooks, Vicki Caison, Lea Cranford, Kelley Evans, Jess Freeburger, Demetria Gartrell, Geri & Chris Hildebrand, Ana Krbashyan, Lara Rader, Sonja Sampson, Kate Shoup, Wanda Snyder, Debbie Standifer, and Bev Woods.

For those who attended and saw the special appeal video, you learned about Calverton’s initiative to expand its teacher Professional Development program. We are excited to share that $27,000 was raised to support new training in Mind, Brain, Education, and Responsive Classroom beginning this summer which will directly impact our 320 students. Please consider making a difference and helping us reach the event goal of $30,000 which will fully support the professional development initiative. Watch the appeal video below to learn more.

Thank you again for your support and your commitment. It makes a difference for our Cougar learners and teachers!

During Teacher Appreciation Week (May 8 - 12) The Calverton School invites everyone to celebrate and recognize the teachers and staff who impact student lives at Calverton. Please join us in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week by sharing a note of appreciation with a Calverton teacher, past or present, and we will make sure your message is delivered.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, please make an annual fund gift to honor our teachers for going above and beyond to make a positive impact on our students' learning and development. If you have not had a chance to make your gift, there's still time to support Calverton!
