How about those CHIEFS?!? If you're a fan, you'll definitely want to come to our Art for the Children event on May 18th (see details below.) We're sure to have some amazing Chiefs gear on hand for you to bid on... Mahomes, Kelce, Pacheco, Rice... all your favorites.
We just raffled off a Isiah Pacheco jersey late last year (pictured below) and we featured some more great Chiefs memorabilia at our Al Fitzmorris golf tournament last October!
| Be sure to watch for future newsletters and mailings to see what this year's auction will include! |
The date for our primary, annual fundraiser — Art for the Children — is coming up fast! This special night will be filled with music, beverages and great food. And of course you'll find amazing art donated by many local, national and international artists!

Warehouse Cleanup Day
has been Rescheduled!
Due to inclement weather last month, we had to cancel our Warehouse Cleanup Day on January 13th. But it's warmer now, so we're back on! Please join us on Saturday, March 2nd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our office (8363 Melrose Dr., Lenexa, KS 66214) for Warehouse Cleanup Day. It sounds like work, but it always ends up being twice the fun!

Also, if you'd like to help us make sure we've got what we need for upcoming missions—click here to see a list of needed items. Before donating supplies, contact Sulamita Ortiz, Missions Assistant, to make arrangements, or call 913-338-0343. Thank you!
By the way, do you know any students who need volunteer hours? Medical Missions Foundation can put them to work. Thanks Zach from KU for helping us out last month!

We're Packed and Ready for Our Mission to
San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala!
| Several volunteers heading to San Lucas Toliman gathered at the office on January 20th to pack medical supplies and equipment for the mission. | Please keep an eye out on social media and blogs posted on our website, to follow along on their journey. | San Lucas Toliman is a municipality in the Solola department of Guatemala. The town of 17,000 people sits on the south-eastern shore of Lago de Atitlan. Described as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. The population is 90-95% Highland Maya. There is a population of about the same size living in the surrounding villages. | For more stories about our other missions, be sure to check out our Mission Blogs. Thanks to our teams for all their great work! |
Well, that about covers it for today. Look for a brand new issue of Mission Matters on the first friday of every month!
In the meantime, our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages are active and a great place to catch all the very latest news and information about Medical Missions Foundation — so stay tuned and be sure to check back regularly! And please feel free to contact me directly with questions, concerns, or to find out more about upcoming missions, events, and fundraisers.
Have a great weekend, everyone — and…
