New Year, MoVal!

As we approach the New Year, the City reminds residents that fireworks are illegal year-round in Moreno Valley.

Not only are fireworks illegal, but they are also extremely dangerous. Illegal fireworks may cause serious injuries, trigger PTSD in veterans, and cause pets to run away. Moreno Valley police officers have prioritized the enforcement of illegal fireworks and have issued numerous fines throughout the year.

Schedule Your Post-Holiday Bulky Item Pickup

Need to get rid of large items? Moreno Valley has you covered.

The City's bulky item pickup program gives Moreno Valley households four pickups per month for free. Scheduling a pickup is easy—call Waste Management at 800.423.9986 at least 24 hours in advance of your regular service day, and they'll pick up the bulky item for you.

Accepted bulky items include furniture, large appliances, small household appliances, tires, and oversized yard waste such as tree trunks and large branches.

A Visit to Parque Amistad

At just under five acres, Parque Amistad is a beautiful community park that features a playground, picnic shelters, a basketball court, baseball/softball fields, barbecues, and more.

Located at 26160 Gentian Avenue, Parque Amistad is a true neighborhood park perfect for the entire family.

Pet of the Week: Elsa

Our Pet of the Week is Elsa, a two-year-old German Shepherd. She has a calm, friendly demeanor and a quirky smile that will lift your spirits! She is very comfortable on a leash and is already spayed, so she can go home the same day she finds her new family!
