Average Increases on Second Day of OBS October, Topped by $150,000 Florida-bred Complexity Filly

Despite Hurricane Milton barreling down on Florida and Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company officials having to reschedule their two-day OBS October Yearling Sale, holding it 24 hours earlier than planned, Tuesday action produced an increase in the average price for both days to $20,123 from $19,976 a year ago.

Claimed for $50,000 by trainer Horacio De Paz two starts back, Florida-bred Bouncer will try to get the first victory for his new connections in an upper level, $50,000 optional claiming at Laurel Park Friday. Featuring a purse of $56,000, the five-and-a-half-furlong sprint has six 3-year-olds and older.
