LWV OPRF December 11 Week in Preview

January Second Tuesday

The January 9 Second Tuesday presentation will discuss fatal opioid overdose prevention efforts in Oak Park. Emphasis will be placed on the “harm reduction boxes” located throughout the community and the free access to naloxone (Narcan) medication kits used to reverse a drug overdose. Learn how to use the spray, receive a kit, be prepared! The speakers, Sara Semelka and Chelly Richards, are educators from the Oak Park Department of Public Health. Mark your calendars for 9:30am on January 9 at the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association, 178 Forest Ave., Oak Park. This event is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!
