The Counseling Department has scheduled a VIRTUAL high school information session for parents/guardians on Wednesday, September 27 at 6pm to give an overview of the application process which will open during the first week of October.
Elissa Stein, director of High School 411, will be presenting to families at this meeting, providing her unique perspective and guidance on navigating the application process.
Elissa Stein founded High School 411 after going through the public high school process with her own two kids. She has since worked with thousands of families over the past 10 years, helping to navigate this confusing, challenging, and seemingly ever changing process. The link to the meeting will be opened at 5:45 PM on the night of the presentation. We encourage all attendees to enter the meeting room prior to the start time as we will begin the presentation promptly at 6:00 PM.
To ensure that we maximize our time with Elissa, we are asking that families submit their questions in advance utilizing this form.
Questions should be submitted by Thursday, September 21st. We will then identify the most commonly asked questions that will provide the most useful information to be answered in the last part of this meeting.
Please be aware that this meeting will serve as an opportunity to provide information that applies to all families. Questions regarding your child specifically are not appropriate for this meeting. Individual meetings regarding your child will be available with a member of our counseling team in the coming weeks.
