As we enter our 86th year of operation, Scarsdale Adult School continues to serve a wide and diverse audience that makes up our learning community. We are committed to keeping our courses and programs affordable for everyone, while offering a rich and varied selection of past favorites plus new classes and activities.
As an independent, nonprofit organization, we do not receive any municipal funding. The news is filled with stories of local media outlets and non-profits closing their doors. As operating costs like insurance, venue rentals, salaries, etc., continue to rise, tuition alone is not enough to keep our doors open. We are a private educational institution, and we rely on the generosity of our community — all of you — to help us meet our expenses.
