NO FEES - Our competition is FREE to enter! (6 bottles/entry or 3 bottles for Limited Production Wineries)
LIMITED PRODUCTION WINERY PROGRAM - For wineries producing 1,000 cases or less per year, we offer a special program with a lower bottle number requirement.
WINE JUDGES - Only commercial winemakers and winery principals serve as judges
DOUBLE-BLIND - Neither the judges nor the wine stewards know which wine is being served during the Competition.
JUDGING CATEGORIES - Wines are judged by type and varietal in price and sugar categories
FREE LABEL COMPETITION - Wine entries are eligible for the label and bottle design competition
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - Proceeds provide funding for enology, viticulture, and wine-related programs - over $820,000 donated to 8 California institutions to date!
