Break Out Your Running Shoes Tomorrow!

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, November 16, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for Moreno Valley’s second annual Fun Color Run!

Celebrate health, fitness, and community as we run, walk, or even dance along the family-friendly two-mile course! This colorful event begins at the Civic Center Amphitheater and winds around town. It promises to be great fun for the entire family. Strollers and four-legged friends on leashes are welcome!

And at the end of the course, all participants can gather for raffle prizes, music, food, and a celebratory toss of brightly colored festival powders! We hope to see you there to help make our second annual “Fun Color Run” a memorable, exciting event for everyone.

Visit moval.org/run to register. Cashless registration will also be available on-site on the day of the event.

A Day of Snow and Lights That Glow!

The holidays are around the corner, and that means it’s almost time for our Snow Day and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 7.

Join us from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for our Snow Day as we transform our Civic Center Amphitheater into a beautiful winter wonderland with real snow!

Register today! The event is $6 for residents and $8 for non-residents. To purchase wristbands online, go to registermoval.org. Once purchased, wristbands can be picked up at the Conference & Recreation Center, 14075 Frederick Street, or at will-call on the day of the event. ASL interpretation provided.

And after the Snow Day festivities, stick around for our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:45 p.m. in front of City Hall. We'll light up our iconic 30-foot-tall Holiday Tree, and a certain jolly someone from the North Pole will be making a special appearance!

Plus...this year’s Tree Lighting Ceremony will be extra special, because we are also celebrating the City’s 40th anniversary!

Celebrate the season of joy! For more information, visit movalparks.org.

Our Pet of the Week is Adora, a two-year-old, sable and white female German Shepherd mix.

Adora is "totes adorbs"! She is perhaps one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She has a calming demeanor, and her cuteness is rivaled only by her intelligence. Adora knows several tricks and is very attentive to people's voices and commands.

If you would like to make Adora or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
