Mayfest Progress

Parents: Thank you for letting us know how you are able to help with Mayfest this year! As you saw in the yellow sheet that went home, there are so many ways to help with Mayfest. Even if you are unable to attend that night, there are many ways to assist in the planning and executing of the event.

We have a group of people interested in planning the decorations. WONDERFUL!! We'll get this group together to start making plans.

Other things to consider:

Assisting with check in: Registering guests, bidder tickets, etc.

Helping with check out: Helping guests pay via check or by card. (We would like to have three kiosks for this.)

Setting up the morning of the event: Usually from 9:00-12:00 that morning.

We know that it's not always possible for everyone to attend. As always, prayers for the success of this event are always appreciated!

Check out the bulletin board opposite the school office for some basic information about Mayfest. It really is GREAT event! :)

NEXT MAYFEST MEETING: Tuesday, March 26th 5:00. It's never too late to join us!

WE ARE GROWING!! Martin Luther School is taking applications for the position of 6th grade teacher. If you have a true love of teaching, enjoy sharing Christ, and are up for the challenge of learning more about classical education, this is a position for you. This is a rather flexible position as we are accessing the gifts and talents of our teachers in the middle school grades and utilizing their individual strengths.  We have a supportive team of teachers learning together as we continue to grow in our knowledge of the classical Christian philosophy of education. Interested applicants may email Principal Denise Wolfgram at wolfgram@lutherschools.org to receive an application or call the school office at 701-224-9070.

PARKING LOT UPDATE:

The frost, along with some damage from the recent snow removal process has wreaked quite a bit of havoc on the south entrance parking lot. Until further notice, please use either the EAST (ABC CARE) or NORTH entrances for pick-up and drop-off. For parents who would like to accompany their children into the school, we do have a parking lot across the street by the east entrance for you to use. We apologize for the inconvenience!

ALL-SCHOOL MUSICAL!!! (Grades K-7)

April is just a stone's throw away, so mark this one your calendars, parents of students in kindergarten-7th grade.

Winter coat? Jacket? Sweatshirt? T-shirts?

Because of our fickle weather and sometimes cooler classrooms, it's helpful for your child to have a lighter jacket/sweatshirt/ sweater option available for those warmer days outside, as well as cooler days while inside. Sometimes a t-shirt is just too cool to wear these days in the classroom, so to help your child be comfortable, we encourage you to provide a long-sleeved option or sweatshirt.

Likewise, we may have "winter coat weather" in the morning for recess, and "sweatshirt weather" in the afternoon or after school. Having a lighter coat option will prepare us for our lovely, ever-changing ND weather!

Martin Luther School's Facebook page has changed. The Martin Luther Page is still visible, but we are unable to add to it. To see the up to date Facebook page, click on the following: Our New Facebook Page.
