Pathways To Peace (PTP)

Exceptional Women of Peace Awards


Do you know or are you an Exceptional Woman or Young Woman of Peace? You can nominate yourself or others by clicking on the Nomination Form:

When the online nomination form is received, we will email an application to learn more about the nominee and her work for Peace.

Nominations will close on May 15, 2024.

 

On March 8th, 2024, in honor of International Women’s Day, Pathways To Peace (PTP) launches its third annual Exceptional Women of Peace Awards Program. This program endeavors to give out two awards – one for an Exceptional Woman of Peace and one for an Exceptional Young Woman of Peace (25 and under). The awardees will receive an award and $300.00. The campaign culminates in an Awards Ceremony on September 13th, 2024.

In the spirit of our Co-Founder, Avon Mattison, who passed in October of 2021, PTP recognizes and celebrates the exceptional leadership of women of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. And we wish to honor those women and young women among us who have persevered in the face of challenges and exceeded all expectations in their quest for sustainable Peace. Incorporated in 1983, Pathways to Peace (PTP) is an international organization dedicated to making Peace a lived reality in our world today. PTP is an UN-designated Peace Messenger Organization that holds consultative status with the UN Department of Global Communications (DGC) and the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
