Welcome Chair Michael Whatley and

Co-Chair Lara Trump

Exciting news came from the recent RNC Spring Meeting in Houston. Michael Whatley was unanimously elected Chair along with Lara Trump as Co-Chair. The Republican National Committee is in excellent hands with the new Chair! I want to thank outgoing Chair Ronna McDaniel for her years of service to the Party and all she built.

Before becoming RNC Chair, Michael Whatley served for years with us on the Republican National Committee as Chair of the North Carolina State Party. North Carolina has become quite the battleground in recent years so Chair Whatley is extremely familiar with the Democrat playbook.

Many would probably be surprised to learn just how closely the national committees work with Presidential campaigns. I look forward to uniting and working together to beat Biden and the Democrats in November!

Jobs Report

While it’s a good thing Americans are going back to work, many are still left struggling thanks to Biden’s economy.

What you need to know:

The bottom line:

Despite Biden’s attempts to downplay his economic failures, American are not fooled; they know Biden is to blame.

A Nightmare To Remember

Last night, Americans heard more of the same from Joe Biden – a partisan speech filled with angry rhetoric, weak leadership, and broken promises.

What you need to know:

  • The state of the union is in decline. We cannot have four more years of:
  • Open border policies
  • Biden took office on a promise to dismantle border security — and he followed through.
  • In his first 100 days, Biden took 94 executive actions undermining border security.
  • The results have been catastrophic.
  • Under this administration, a record 9+ million illegal immigrants, including 1.8+ million known “gotaways,” have crossed the border (or were secretly flown in) — including criminals and individuals on the terror watchlist .
  • “Bidenomics”
  • When Biden took office, inflation was at 1.4%, the nationwide average for regular gas was $2.39/gallon, and the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate was around 2.7%.
  • Today, overall prices are up nearly 18%, average gas prices are more than 40% higher, and mortgage rates remain near record highs.
  • Despite his angry, divisive, and incoherent speech, Joe Biden did not mention:
  • His botched Afghanistan withdrawal
  • U.S. service members killed in Afghanistan
  • U.S. service members killed by Iran-backed proxies in the Middle East
  • Gas prices
  • TikTok
  • Nuclear weapons
  • North Korea
  • Cuba
  • School choice
  • His classified documents scandal
  • Hunter Biden’s corruption
  • Fossil fuels
  • Deporting illegals
  • The border wall
  • Attacks on pregnancy centers
  • China's human rights abuses
  • Laken Riley (Referring to her as Lincoln does not count)

The bottom line:

The state of our union begins and ends with this: our families are hurting and our country can do better. Americans did not buy what Biden was selling last night.
