ISP Needs YOU!

ISP is looking for 8 international students representing a variety of countries to participate in a college-themed photoshoot for the SRJC in the first half of April. If you are interested, please send an email to tgalvez@santarosa.edu. Any and all international students are welcome to sign up!

Come to International Club!

The International Club is always looking for new members! Come spend time with your fellow students as we build community, explore the Northern California area, and have fun! We meet every other Friday in Doyle Library 141! We hope to see you there!

March Updates

Housing Application Opens

Today, 3/1, is the opening day for applications for on-campus housing! The Polly O’Meara Doyle Hall houses 352 students for rates as low as $870 per month, including utilities (electricity, Wi-Fi, heat/AC, water/sewer, and laundry). Apply now!

Scholarship Application Deadline

Apply by 3/2 for the Fall 2024 Foundation Scholarship Application on AwardSpring! If you need any assistance with the application process please contact the Scholarship Office. They've also published a brand new guide to help your scholarships stand out!

Transfer Center Events

The Transfer Center invites all SRJC students to their workshops to learn about campus resources and the requirements to transfer to a 4-year institution. Attend their Stress Free Transfer Panel on Tuesday, 3/7 from 6-7pm on Zoom! Register here. Check out their calendar to see which colleges and universities will be coming to SRJC! Don't miss out on meeting with representatives from the college you plan on transferring to!

International Club Soccer Games

Our International Club is hosting bi-weekly soccer games! Come join us every other Saturday at Bailey Field from 3-5 PM for some nice competitive fun! Our next game will be on 3/16!

Student Government Assembly

Run for Student Government Assembly to be the voice of international students at SRJC! Election applications are open from March 1st to March 29th.

Daylight Savings Time

Reminder that Daylight Savings time begins on Sunday, March 10th! If you have any non-automatic clocks to be reset, make sure to do so! We are going forward one hour, so enjoy the sunlight!

Applying for Graduation

Is Spring 2024 your final semester at SRJC? If so, Monday 4/1 is the deadline to apply for your degree and ensure that your name is included in the 2023 Commencement Program. Login to your Student Portal and apply today!

Important Reminders

Remember that you must submit a Travel Authorization Form if you are leaving the country during Spring Break!

Meet Ivan!

Hello, My Name is Ivan K, from Uganda I am an international student at SRJC in the nursing program.

I chose SRJC for its unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion, a strong and vibrant black student’s association “Umoja” was one of the reasons why I chose SRJC, not mentioning the smooth and user-friendly application process.

I am fond of the gym and fitness center at SRJC. My goal is to explore a career in the medical field as an RN.
