Every Mind Matters Newsletter

January 2024

Happy New Year! We are grateful to our vast network of supporters in 2023 who have played a pivotal role in helping us to impact close to 300,000 children and youth with our psychology-based mental health promotion programs. THANK YOU!

We are excited about 2024 as this marks a special point for the organization, our 50th Anniversary. We have long been dedicated to using psychological science to equip Canadians, especially our youth, with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of the modern world. Please watch this video to see how we started!

As we celebrate this milestone, we strive to be a stronger catalyst for positive change in the lives of young people by making an even greater impact on the mental well-being of children and youth in Canada. We are inviting you to join us in these efforts as we to look to increase the reach of our proven psychology-based programs, form more community partnerships, and elevate our voice on the importance of mental health promotion. Mark your calendar for Thursday November 14th, 2024 for our 50th anniversary event.

We value and appreciate your commitment to the mental well-being of children in Canada and we are looking forward to another great year!

Our programs are proven!

Canada is amid a mental health crisis. The Mental Health Commission of Canada tells us "Promotion and prevention efforts have been found to reduce demand for mental health and social services over an individual’s life."

Building coping skills early in life is key to these efforts. We have a portfolio of three key psychology-based programs and resources that are proven to provide youth with key coping skills that help them to build a solid foundation of mental health before problems or issues begin.
