MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

Congratulations to the PTO and school community for hosting a wildly successful and fun Color Walk on Friday! Through the generosity of our families and sponsors and efforts of our Rock the Walk team, faculty, and staff, we raised $107,733.45 for many initiatives and ongoing support for our students. Thanks to all!

We had a great turn out for the blessing of animals on Saturday. It was great to see so many of our faithful companions. They seemed to have a great time together and, even, didn’t seem to mind being sprinkled with holy water (too much). Thanks to all who came and called upon God’s blessing upon the animals which, in their own unique ways, show forth the glory of God.

We have baptisms this coming weekend, again. It’s an amazing sign of life and hope for the future! Thanks to the families who make a faith decision for the benefit of their children and who bless our community with their presence and engagement.

I will be traveling this weekend to my 30th college class reunion. Since June and the four days I spent with Archbishop Shelton in Knoxville for his appointment as the apostolic administrator, it seems like I have been on and off the road quite a bit. Some has been ministry related and some has been personal. I am looking forward to settling in after this weekend and being home through Christmas. Thanks to all of our clergy, especially Fr. Quan, and staff for their incredible efforts and ministry. Thanks for your own patience with my travel schedule and responsibilities as Vicar General. I am blessed to be your pastor!

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
