On October 2nd, JFS' Senior Medicare Patrol of New Jersey (SMP-NJ) met with Veterans at the Northvale Veteran Center to discuss preventing and reporting Medicare fraud and abuse. Led by SMP-NJ Program Director, Charles Clarkson, the presentation addressed how to stay vigilant against potential Medicare fraud.

SMP-NJ provides workshops and presentations to Medicare beneficiaries to help older adults detect, report and prevent fraud activities as well as navigate the complexities of Medicare. To learn more about SMP-NJ or to schedule a presentation, email office@jfsmiddlesex.org or call 732-777-1940.

Hosted by the JFS Women’s Center in collaboration with the Kennis School of Allied Health, participants will learn vital skills for handling child-related emergencies.
