Primary season is upon us!
Let's start right here in Texas, where we will be voting in a couple of months. There are a lot of local races that are very important for the future of our party. But whether or not your area is experiencing a heated competition, the primary elections remail crucial for our local parties and activists as we gear up for the general election. Additionally there are propositions on the ballot (view here) that activists and elected officials alike can point to as popular support for conversative policies. The Texas Secretary of State is a great election resource as are your local parties. It is essential to know your candidates, be educated and fully prepared to exercise your right to vote!
And of course all eyes are currently fixed on the Presidential primary. While it certainly looks like President Trump has the primary well in hand, the unpredictable nature of politics means there might be surprises. Either way, the impact of these primaries extend beyond the current race, influencing the path of future Republican administrations and shaping the political landscape for 2028 and beyond!
In just ten days, Iowa will host its caucuses, marking the beginning of a series of pivotal events. Following soon after Iowa, New Hampshire will be conducting its primary. So it's safe to say a lot of activity and news in the next few weeks. As always I will be doing my best to keep you informed and provide valuable resources for the grassroots. Stay tuned!
