Operetta

Join us today Friday, March 8, at either 1:30 pm or 6:30 pm in the auditorium to see Grades 1-4 perform the operetta “Go Fish” a tale about a shark who wants to be friends with everyone. There is no cost to attend, but a free-will offering will be taken.

Drop-Off Reminder

A kind reminder regarding the morning drop-off procedure: Parents who need/desire to help students with opening car doors or unbuckling seat belts are asked to park their car in a parking space during the morning drop-off procedure. The drop-off line (that flows past the orange cones) is reserved for students who can independently get themselves out of their cars. To help keep everyone safe during drop-off, please use the parking spaces if you know your student needs assistance getting out of the car. St. Paul appreciates it! (For additional information see pg. 15 in the Parent Handbook.)

Art Fair & Lenten Dinner

All are invited to attend this year’s Art Fair and 7/8th grade sponsored Lenten Dinner on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in the school gym between the Lenten Services at church. Student artwork will be on display for viewing. Spaghetti, salad, breadsticks, and dessert will be served. There is no cost for the dinner, but a free-will offering will be collected to support the class trip to St. Louis, MO. Come enjoy a great evening with your St. Paul family. Doors for the Art Fair will be open by 4:00 pm. Spaghetti will be served starting at 4:15 pm and will conclude by 6:00 pm.

If your child is not currently signed up for track, but wishes to participate, please let Mrs. Dent know before Friday, March 22. Practices will begin on Wednesday, April 10 from 3:15-4:30, and will be held every Wednesday and Thursday thereafter. A formal schedule will be given once the team has been finalized. Coach Jon Arnold and Mrs. Dent can’t wait to see the kids use the gifts and talents they’ve been blessed with.

Inclement Weather School Closing

With cold weather coming, we inevitably know that there may be a Snow Day or two in our future. How will you know if school is closed for a Snow Day? Check these three places:

  1. St. Paul Lutheran School will be closed when Bay City Public School closes, watch for it on WNEM's School Closings.
  2. The office will also send out a FastDirect email.
  3. School Closings will be posted on our St. Paul Lutheran School Facebook Page.
